Golf is a wonderful game, especially when it involves the whole family. It is also an important game to take up at a young age! The Junior Golf Program here at Governors Club in Chapel Hill near Raleigh is an excellent path to start your children on. The purpose of the program is to educate our junior golfers on golf swing fundamentals to ensure positive growth in both enjoyment and skill level. Along the way, junior golfers will learn the many rules of golf and the proper etiquette that the game warrants.
The Governors Club Junior Golf Program is designed to promote fun, and provides instruction on an individual basis. Each junior is taught according to age and skill level. Our goal is to provide a foundation in golf for the youth of our club and to get you, the parents, out on the course with your children.
Choose from summer golf camps, weekly golf clinic sessions, or individual Instruction. Then use those newly acquired skills in the Junior Club Championship or Parent-Child Outing.
