Believed to be the only state-supported symphony in the country, the North Carolina Symphony performs over 430 times a year, and most of those concerts are free programs for the state’s school children. The Symphony offers three concert series each year and features many guest performers.
Both the RBC Center and Alltel Pavilion, serve as venues for some of world’s top music entertainers. The RBC Center is home of the Carolina Hurricanes Hockey team and some of their recent performances have included Billy Joel, Celine Dion, Keith Urban & Carrie Underwood and Disney on Ice.
